New Exhibition: Rei Gallery Art Exhibition - know your place, 2024
Just thrilled to be a part of the opening night of the ‘Know Your Place’ Exhibition by the Rei Artist Collective which runs from 20 Nov -9 Jan @_reigallery 10b Norwich Quay, Lyttelton!
The exhibition is part of the Whakaraupō ‘Know Your Place’ environment and art celebration, that features interactive events around the harbour during the above dates.
You can enjoy artworks in various media including sculpture, prints, whakairo, jewellery and paintings.
“Nestled in Ōhinehou, Rei is a space for Māori and non-Māori to find common ground, to create not just art, but mutual aid between each other, to make amends with the past and centre Te Ao Māori (the world of Māori). We want society to see the ways in which contribution is meaningful, how creative work can be realised collectively, and find ways of how we might shape our future together.”

It is always such a pleasure sharing my pieces with the many visitors who visit our beautiful city’s convention centre.

New Exhibition: ART ON THe Quay Gallery
It was an absolute thrill to attend the opening of the @artscanterbury ‘Water’ exhibition, in which my own piece was selected to be displayed amongst an array of amazing Canterbury creatives!
With a theme prompt of “Water” Arts Canterbury members were invited to submit artworks for this exhibition. Twenty six pieces were selected to bring “Water” to you in some unexpected ways.
The Arts Canterbury “Water” exhibition showcased an eclectic mixture of artworks in varying styles and mediums. There will be something to appeal to everyone.
Hosted by Art on the Quay at the Ruataniwha Civic Centre in Kaiapoi, come along to see how each artist has interpreted the theme.

The exhibition runs through to the 19th February so you could fit a trip to Lincoln and perhaps enjoy a lunch in one of its many cafes whenever is most convenient for you.

end of year exhibition entitled - ‘Xmas Cash And Carry’. Showcasing my ‘True Blue Series’.
Located in the haven of Akaroa, this historic gallery houses an array of artworks in continuous exhibitions by celebrated artists. A “must visit” and for your Santa stocking this Christmas!
New Exhibition: Akaroa Community Arts Council’s
end of year exhibition entitled - ‘Peninsula Past And Present’. There, hanging in all their glory are ‘Irradiation’ 1 & 2. These works evoke the glorious colours of our Pacific Ocean and evoke how the water radiates a truly awesome vista.
Do make a visit to this wonderful exhibition to view an array of pieces by Banks Peninsula creative artists, and pick up an early Christmas gift for yourself!!💙
The exhibition runs for the next month and is situated right in the heart of Akaroa village.
New Exhibition: Arts Canterbury Juried show
‘Swaying To The Breeze-Triptych’, was selected to be a part of the Arts Canterbury Juried Show in Eastside Gallery, which opened Monday, 10th October.
This piece is the result of a new and exhilarating journey into sculptural pieces. A journey that I am becoming fully immersed in and look forward to continuing to explore.
To have my triptych included in this event is very exciting. Annually Arts Canterbury encourages its members to submit an example of their work for their juried exhibition. This year, three independent jurors have selected 33 works from 23 local artists.
New Exhibition: St MArgaret’s College
Awesome opening night the St Margaret’s College Art and Sculpture Exhibition! I was just thrilled to see my new collection so beautifully displayed and what a wonderfully positive response from the guests attending; a truly humbling experience.
This exhibition from the 2nd September to the 4th September with free entry for all. Make sure that you go and enjoy the array of stunning works from New Zealand’s talented artists.
New Exhibition: ARts Canterbury 2022
Enjoy the works of more than 65 members who will be exhibiting at the inaugural Arts Canterbury Art Show at The Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street, Cashmere, Christchurch. Arts Canterbury believe in fostering appreciation of the visual arts in Canterbury and provide support to artists who create it. This event will be a fundraiser for Arts Canterbury so that they may continue to provide this support to their members.
The Arts Canterbury Art Show at the Cashmere Club opens on Friday 12th of August with a ticketed opening night - tickets can be bought from eventbrite or there will be limited door sales. At the opening night you can enjoy a complimentary drink, nibbles and live music while enjoying all of the art and mingling with the artists. You will also be able to bid on the silent Art Auction which will be running throughout the weekend.
The show will then be open to the public Saturday and Sunday 12.14 August 10am-4pm, and is just a gold coin donation on the door.
